2026 Sisters Empowering Sisters Annual Conference Registration

Welcome to the Sisters Empowering Sisters (SES) Annual Conference registration form. This year’s conference will take place on Friday, May 1 to Saturday, May 2 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at Syracuse University. There is no cost for students to attend.

A parent or legal guardian must complete this form, and both the parent/guardian and student must acknowledge the Code of Conduct. Space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until school allotments are filled. Please complete all required sections below.

I give permission for my child to attend the Sisters Empowering Sisters Annual Conference on Friday, May 1, 2026, and Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Schine Student Center at Syracuse University.

I give permission to The Image Initiative, Inc., its agents, assigns, and/or newspapers, radio, television, website, and social media to use my child’s photographs, video, or motion images for publicity regarding this program.

Liability Waiver and Release *

I am the lawful parent/legal guardian of the student listed above, and I consent to my child’s participation in the Sisters Empowering Sisters Annual Conference. I understand that participation is at my child’s own risk and that, although rare, illness, injury, or death could result. I voluntarily allow my child to participate with full awareness that risks may be involved.

Release of Liability *

In consideration of The Image Initiative, Inc. allowing my child to participate, I release and agree to hold harmless The Image Initiative, Inc. and its directors, officers, partners, managers, employees, volunteers, agents, successors, attorneys, and assigns from liability, claims, or demands for accidental personal injury, sickness, death, property damage, or related expenses arising from my child’s participation in the conference.

Indemnification Agreement *

I agree to hold harmless and indemnify The Image Initiative, Inc. for any liability resulting from the negligent, willful, or intentional acts of my child, including reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees.

Emergency Medical Authorization *

I authorize The Image Initiative, Inc. to consent to any necessary emergency medical treatment for my child during participation in the conference, and I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical costs incurred.

Student Code of Conduct

The Image Initiative requires all participants to follow its Code of Conduct. Participants may be removed from the program for behavior that violates these rules. Click here to download the Code of Conduct (Print and bring a physical copy on the day of).

I understand that participants must treat fellow participants, staff, volunteers, chaperones, and mentors with respect; may not engage in harassment, bullying, cyber-bullying, threats, violence, or unsafe behavior; may not possess alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, or dangerous materials; must follow program policies and staff directions; must use cell phones only when permitted; and must avoid inappropriate public displays of affection or other inappropriate behavior.
